My NEC "78K - Test it!" uses a female 9 pin RS232C connector .

Around 2005, as a project related to a teaching aid, I created a PICAXE project. It comprises three PCBs.
One of these is a voltage convertor using a MAX232. The circuit requires 5V as power supply.

For completion, I have added this article with a legacy tag. Other devices with RS232C connectivity are labelled with the legacy tag.

The EP44 has an RS232C interface, an LCD display and the intention is to re-purpose it as an interactive device.
