So in the process of replacing the battery we have to remove the screen. In the current light of minimising e-waste it might be something to transplant screens and batteries.
With all the smartphones being discarded there could be an opportunity to perform battery transplanting. Many of the smartphones have cracked screens and the battery, (cell), will probably still be usable.
A recent adventure into investigating the status of laptop batteries took me down the path of GUI to display the charging situation. Here is a graph of the result.
