bring

OK - finally (eventually) I have to add this. date 2/2/2025
As a person who grew up in England in the 50-70 s and experiencing a relatively good teenage educations I have a specific understanding of the use of the word 'brings' . To me (and a few others but they don't see it as a big thing) the word 'brings' can be used to indicate the movement of something from a distance towards me. It cannot be used to replace take.
Imagine a triangle ABC with you - self - at point C and an object at point A. Many Americans, and by deduction Australians who experience too much American media, use the word 'bring' to indicate that they want to move said object from A to B.

With my purported membership of the Autism clan and having an acute sense of detail I listen to ALL words in a sentence ( some folk are just a pleasure to listen to ) and get confused when folk use bring to take stuff away from somewhere to somewhere else !!!

This is a WIP and could be edited soon.
