A burst of energy and enthusiasm for my family of mcus led me to a busy day. I was searching for some info on an STM8s-discovery board and came across the live video feed of Russian Soyuz MS-09 spacecraft ISS resupply launch, which was great to watch.

A restart in a side interest in IR photography. The EXIF data for such pictures show camera type and exposure details. Error in uploading due to size is 2.4MB. fix this and try again.

A long-standing interest has been fractals and their generation. A favourite language at the moment is Haskell. Here are a few examples created by a Haskell program, the source of which is forked and available here.

A recent adventure into investigating the status of laptop batteries took me down the path of GUI to display the charging situation. Here is a graph of the result.

Calendar event Observations:
Some of my most wanted calendar events are generated by Eventbrite.
Eventbrite generates version 1.0 vcalendar files. Examine file with text editor.
Direct importing into iPhone {5C at least} does not work - the event is not entered into the calendar and the app appears to freeze.
