A Jaycar offering - some products are not well documented - someone has created a library for this. It was on special at my local store. I have used Charlieplexing before so this was likely to be of interest.

LM317T is an adjustable voltage regulator monolithic integrated circuit intended for use as a positive adjustable voltage regulator. It is designed to supply more than 1.5A of load current with an output voltage adjustable over a 1.2 to 37V range.

Notepad on Windows has a built-in feature that allows it to act as a basic log file creator by automatically adding a timestamp to the beginning of the file each time it's opened. This is achieved by simply starting the file with the line ".LOG" (in all caps). Notepad will then recognize this and append the current date and time to the file whenever it's opened in the future
